MassGIS Data: Public Water Supply Service Territories

These data delineate areas potentially served by larger public water suppliers, as of January 2004.

These data were developed by EarthTech, through the Water Assets Project funded by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs. The project addressed 131 municipalities in Massachusetts. Please note that not all of these 131 communities actually contain polygon data. Those in the list above which do not include data were determined by EarthTech not to have any areas served by public water suppliers at the time of the study. See map of study area for details.

These data were developed by EarthTech, 196 Baker Avenue, Concord, MA 01742, Phone: 978-371-4000 through the Water Assets Project funded by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs. Data were collected through interviews with public water suppliers in the 131 cities and towns listed above.
